The Schneider Modicon Quantum PLC module uses modern large-scale integrated circuit technology and is manufactured through strict production processes. The internal circuit incorporates advanced anti-interference technology, resulting in exceptionally high reliability.
The Quantum PLC features hardware fault self-detection capability, enabling timely alarm notifications when failures occur. Additionally, it supports programming for peripheral component fault self-diagnosis in the Concept environment, providing comprehensive system protection beyond just the PLC circuitry.
Key features include:
The hot standby system uses two identically configured modules in primary/secondary configuration. During normal operation, the primary CPU handles program execution while continuously updating the standby CPU's status and data. If the primary fails, the standby immediately takes over with minimal switching time (less than one PLC scan cycle).
Applications: CNC machinery, metallurgy, oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical processing, paper/printing, textile, machinery manufacturing, electronics, automotive, tobacco, plastics, power generation, water treatment, environmental protection, municipal engineering, boiler systems, energy, and power distribution.
